Idaho Springs is an eclectic community with a variety of restaurants, unique shops, parks, hiking trails and historical landmarks. We are noted for our scenic drives and great outdoor activities. Clear Creek, the river that winds through our town, has become second in Colorado for whitewater rafting and kayaking. Other summer sports include biking, ATV & 4 wheeling trails, horseback riding, camping and fishing. Fall and Winter fun includes hunting, snowmobile and snowshoe trails and close proximity to Loveland and Echo Park Ski areas.
